Reverse Porn Star Sexism

Historically in this zany world of ours, females have long suffered as second rate citizens in a lot of situations. This despite the fact that without women, there would be no world, for all of life comes from the magical vagina. Yes, sexism has been alive and well for centuries. Women have bravely fought to gain more social status throughout the years, and they currently are doing better than they ever have. Women in all social circles of the world have reached new heights in recent years, from politics to business to pop culture. One area, though, where men have routinely fallen short is in the world of dirty pictures and movies. Yes, male porn stars simply do not have the same social recognition as their female counterparts. They are not paid as well and they are not nearly as famous.

Sexism in porn

A lot of people would instantly argue that this assessment is an insane one from the get-go, reasoning that women porn stars are certainly not figures to be held up as some great beacon of gender advancement. They would scoff and laugh at the belief that women porn stars are thought of as respected in the overall community, coming from the world that they do. Well people can scoff and roll their eyes all they want, but it does not change the fact that female porn stars routinely are invited onto talk shows, paid to guest star in movies and television episodes, appear at red carpet events, and many other positive developments, including that whole paid-better-than-men thing. People in mainstream America know the names of many female porn stars today, but could not tell you the name of a male one.

Women porn stars

It is an odd area, to be sure, to make such a positive move for their gender, but most women porn stars in the business are quite happy with their accomplishments, as funny as that sounds to a lot of people. Male porn stars are barely scraping by.
