The War Between Porn Makers

The way people get porn, the way they take to porn, the way the entire world of sex has changed through the years see porn movie makers fighting an uphill climb to grab an audience viewing share. Still porn is as popular as it has ever been; really, when it comes to porn things are apoppin’ all the time. The companies we have come to count on to deliver dirty movies to us are scrambling for your dollar in the face of pirated downloads, a fickle public and simply so many other entertainments to catch their viewer’s eyes, but what they have we do so want!

Dirty movie

Let’s face it, there is nothing like a dirty movie so in that regard pornographers do have a specific unique product that never really seems to go out of style. But there is great competition out there and porn companies feel it. Contract porn stars are now the stable a porn company offers its viewership as our favorite guys and girls of the movies often make us watch those movies. And then there are plenty of guest star D-list celebs who come in and out of a company’s roster to try and catch a rapid public’s attention with one-off movies or show and tell-all DVD productions about whatever it is that made them D-list celebrities.

Kink tits

Then of course there is how a porn movie company distributes their content that sees them competing. Sure all porn makers battle the net when it comes to getting their stuff for free but every company has a web presence and offers the ability for fans to buy movies online, on DVD or both.

Porn wars

Lastly, it is in content where porn battles. Some companies are known primarily for parodies, others gay action, still others kink. And in a surprising reaction to pirated downloads some companies spend more money on their productions to give the viewer a high-end movie that they will not ever see any place else…in the hopes the viewer will pay for that experience.
