Porn Or Cybersex?

Cybersex can be a fun alternative to porn when a person wants to fantasize and play a little more of an interactive role in the scene unfolding while masturbating. Cybersex, basically sex chat, is an interesting concept because it’s very much like writing an erotic story or novel with the input of another person. Each party is alone in front of a computer, and the most interaction that might be available is seeing each other on a webcam and/or hearing each other speak, but even that isn’t actually necessary. Cybersex is role playing and fantasy, typed out or spoken into a microphone, for people to jerk off too. It can be very enjoyable though, and many people feel that it’s better than jerking off alone or even watching porn because the fantasy is tailored specifically to their personal interests and desires in a way that porn is not. Without the camera and sound, it very much resembles writing an erotic story together, the combination of two people’s fantasies. Since it’s possible to save the transcripts, it gives both parties something to re-read and jerk off to in the future. The biggest problem with this is that we often never know who is truly behind the other computer. If we’re cybering without a camera, we could be talking to anyone. The anonymity of it allows people to create a persona that may not be at all accurate. People online can pretend to be anything or anyone they want. It is not unusual for a guy to pretend to be a woman and vice versa. They can claim any sexual orientation that they choose. Many people say they’re looking for real time eventually when they actually have no intention of meeting in person. Lonely or unhappy people can sometimes start to feel an emotional attachment to their cybering buddy, and are quite often very disappointed when it never moves into real life or when they find out the person hasn’t been completely honest about who they are.
