Learning from Porn

The adult media empire of today is without a doubt a reflection of the sexuality of the people who watch it. Porn is not created in a vacuum but arises from the desires and lusts of the people who watch it and make it. Though some argue that it has created a desire for certain behaviors, such as the increasing prevalence of anal sex or rough sex behaviors amongst people who watch it, it is actually much more likely that the appearance of these behaviors in x-rated media is actually because people are curious about it.

Adult video reflects but it may also amplify. What we see in these movies is not reality. Anyone who has actually fucked will tell you it is rarely so smooth or as perfect as we see in these films. It’s messy and confusing sometimes. People stub their toe or bump their head from time to time. Sometimes a man might lose an erection or a woman fart during sex — shocking perhaps, or unromantic, but it’s part of the reality of human relations. Mature people roll with it, laughing and moving on to new erotic thrills as the moment continues.

On the other hand, free porn videos can help us by showing us that our desires are normal. If one is into a fetish or a type of sex, and one sees movies with this topic one knows that there must be others out there, of all genders, who are into it. While of course some porn stars are just doing it for the money, others enjoy it for the free sex thrills they get, as well as of course the paycheck they receive. In modern times, most people appearing in a bondage sex movie are actually probably into BDSM as well.

There are also now special educational movies which show people how to enjoy cunnilingus, rough sex, or any number of other topics, combining both lessons and porn.
